Katerina Hirschfeld is the recipient of the 2019-20 Acadia Outstanding Masters Research Award for the Faculty of Arts. Her thesis -- Failing at Happiness: Queer Time in Rubyfruit Jungle, Stone Butch Blues, and Tomboy Survival Guide -- was defended in August 2019.
