3rd Annual Mawio'mi
The word Mawio’mi means gathering, and such gathering can have various purposes. The aim of this year’s aboriginal arts gathering is to deepen the understanding of what such a yearly gathering to recognize the healing potential of the arts means, and to learn other ways of being, thinking, and learning, with a particular focus on the question how do we co-exist in a just and peaceful way? This is a community-campus event, so everyone wishing to explore our theme question is welcome to join in and participate. Most Mawio’mi events will take place on the grounds of the KC Irving Environmental Centre and in the building.
