A Cairn of Poems - Remembering Dec 6th
To mark the 35th Anniversary of the Montreal Massacre and with the generous support of the President’s Office, Wanda Campbell has published a booklet of poems she has written over the years for Acadia’s annual December 6th ceremony for the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. A Cairn of Poems is available for a donation of $10 or more (with all proceeds going to the Mi’kmaw Family Healing Centre and Chrysalis House) at the Acadia Book Store and at this year’s ceremony to be held on Friday, December 6 at 4pm at the Wolfville Farmer’s market.
