It is 1916, a time of great social and cultural change, as two seasoned young performers brought together by circumstances “break in” a new act on the eastern vaudeville circuit. From the piney shores of Muskoka to the bustle of Toronto, and on through New York State and New Jersey, Billy Pascoe and Lucinda Hart combine their vastly different talents and approaches to their art as they win over theatre audiences. During their brief time together, Pascoe and Hart test the limits of their artistic and personal lives, and find their places with each other as they navigate life’s changes.

Advance Praise for Like Any Other Monday: "In this tender, absorbing novel, Binnie Brennan evokes the magical world of vaudeville and delivers a poignant portrait of its pioneering comic genius, Buster Keaton."—Evelyn C. White, author of Alice Walker: A Life
