Jonathan Deschene successfully defended his thesis: Forging Faërie: Sub-creation, Depth and Mythic Otherworldliness in J.R.R. Tolkien's Conception of the Fairy-Story on August 30, 2011.

Alison Smith sucessfully defended her thesis:  Questionable Empowerment:  Accounts of the Self in Restoriative Justice on August 31, 2011.
